Baron Browning
Denver Broncos
College - ohio state university
Baron Browning, outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos, grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He was highly recruited out of high school and went on to play college football at Ohio State University from 2017 to 2021.
During his time at Ohio State, he totalled 110 career tackles, seven quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and won four consecutive Big Ten championships. In the 2019 Ohio State vs. Penn State game, Browning had seven tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, earning him “champion” honors from his coaching staff.
In 2021, Browning was drafted by the Denver Broncos as the 105th pick in the NFL Draft.
Appearing in 38 games for the Broncos since 2021, Browning has recorded a total of 107 tackles (65 solo), 9.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception and six passes defended.
He has established himself as an explosive and highly competitive outside linebacker and one of the most dominant young pass rushers in the league.
Browning is a jack of all trades – setting the edge, rushing the passer, playing inside the box and doing whatever the defense needs to cause havoc.
His commitment to the game and his personal development reaches far beyond the field. Browning puts in extra work to take care of his body, is a dedicated teammate and leader, devotes time giving back to his community through his foundation and works hard to be a role model and inspiration for young athletes.
He is heading into his fourth season in the NFL and is eligible for a contract extension.
